HAI Initiative for Conservation of Monuments

While some member hotels are already engaged in the replenishment of Indian Culture through active participation and collaboration to preserve and protect tangible and intangible heritage of India, a fresh initiative was taken in this direction by HAI.

A presentation by National Culture Fund was organized at HAI's recent Executive Committee Meeting to apprise the committee members of the various means and ways available for contributing towards the conservation of Indian Heritage. What emerged as the most visible and critical area where support could be extended is towards the monuments in need of attention.

ASI (Archaelogical Survey of India) is involved in maintenance and conservation of 3667 protected monuments spread in all parts of the country.

An illustrative list of 100 monuments that need attention and support by way of public private partnership is available statewise as follows :-
